While paying rich tribute to three militants and a civilian killed in Kashmir capital Srinagar on Saturday, conglomerate of militant outfits United Jihad Council has said that their sacred blood will not go waste.

Three militants were killed in Chattabal Srinagar encounter while a civilian was crushed to death by a Forces vehicle during post encounter clashes. “The martyrs of Chattabal have proved that Kashmiri nation prefers death over subjugation. Militants are asset to nation who risk their lives for sake of freedom,” UJC Chief Syed Salahuddin said in a statement to news agency CNS.

He said the more India will use force to crush the ongoing free Kashmir movement, the more people will yearn for freedom. It was better for India to know about ground reality and resolve the issue as per the aspirations of people of Kashmir. Syed Salahuddin paid rich tribute to Chatabal militants and civilian Adil Ahmed and said that their sacrifices will show colour one day. He condemned Jail authorities for mistreating the political prisoners including Shabir Ahmed Shah, Asiya Andrabi, Masarat Aalam, Pir Saifullah, Ayaz Akbar and others.

“These prisoners are being deprived of medical attention and under a well planned conspiracy their lives are being put at risk,” he said and particularly mentioned the name of Shabir Ahmed Shah who according to him is being deprived of medical treatment despite being serious in the jail. He appealed international human rights organizations particularly Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch to take notice of the deteriorating health of Kashmiri political prisoners inside Indian jails and play a role to ensure their safety.
